Therizinosaurus lived during the late Cretaceous era in what is now Mongolia. The most distinctive features of Therizinosaurus are its gigantic claws on each of the three digits of the front limbs. It is thought that this animal was probably a herbivore this is difficult to establish as there has never been a skull found amongst the fossil remains of Therizinosaurus.
