Ichthyovenator means fish hunter from Laos it is a member of spinosaurid dinosaurs and has the unusual feature of two sail on its back. It lived during the early Cretaceous period 144 to 98 million years ago. The spinosarid dionosaurs had long jaws and teeth suited to catching fish. It is thought they had snouts with pressure sensitive receptors that would have helped them to sense fish swimming in the water near them as they hunted.
